We held an AMA last night (1 Dec), and here are some highlights you’ll want to know!

On 1st Dec 2022, We held a Twitter Spaces involving AwkwardAlz (Lead Developer of Monkey Kingdom), 3Bter (Co-Founder of MonkeyBids), Sephorix (Head of Community of Kingdomverse), and two new Monkey Kingdom Advisors DegenCaesar (OG & Whale of MK) and Kakarot_F23 (Co-Founder of YogaPetz & OG of MK). Below are the TLDR of the Twitter Spaces.

Monkey Kingdom Rebranding

1. Monkey Kingdom has made many “firsts”, including the first cross-chain cultivation of NFT and cross-chain native token pledge projects and the first Asian NFT project listed on Sotheby’s. We characterize ourselves as a brave and exploratory project, and our goal is to continue to do what no one else has done. We will continue to follow this direction, and fashion, luxury, and other fields are also areas of our attention.
2. In the future, we will have a Web3 auction platform MonkeyBids, and Kingdomverse will focus on games. Currently, we have launched the mobile game “Defend the Kingdom.”
3. Monkey Kingdom doesn’t want to rely on “Hype” because it doesn’t last. We want to benefit the community by building real projects & products.
4. We’ve redesigned the Discord channel according to the new development plan and removed the old social media posts to match the brand new brand style.
5. In the past, the various projects of Monkey Kingdom may seem a bit scattered to the community, Monkey Kingdom will work under one unified team from now on.

Why Monkey Kingdom is switching to Ethereum

1. We have been developing in SOL for a long time, but we have always had the idea of ​​cross-chain. We believe that the future of web3 will be multi-chain, so we have applied cross-chain technology from token staking and the breeding of the third-generation NFT.
2. Our MonkeyBids and Kingdomverse will be built on EVM in the future, so moving Monkey Kingdom (Gen 1) and Diamond Baepe (Gen 2) to the same place to further align the cohesiveness of Monkey Kingdom.
3. Being on Ethereum opens up more doors for more collaborations. The existing team has great connections in the ETH ecosystem, be it ETH Projects and also Web2 Brands that are interested to build on ETH.
4. Our Switching of Gen 1 & 2 to ETH will be more convenient for the existing holder. Staking the NFT for tokens will no longer require two wallets.Further simplifying the process for our community.
5. Our game is viral in Japan, and in Japan, people are mostly adopted to ETH and Polygon. Moving to ETH will have significant advantages for our future project cooperation.
6. Many Web2 projects want to enter Web3, and the first blockchain they participate in, is ETH. We have connections with many Web2 brands. So if we want to cooperate with them, ETH will be a better place.

Future Developments of Monkey Kingdom

1. We will cooperate with one of the Biggest Brands in the world. We have yet to disclose any details. Very BIG.
2. MonkeyBids will bring collectibles into auction, including physical and digital collectibles. We expect some of these items to be interesting and humorous, and some are Trendy items that are more difficult to obtain on the market.
3. MonkeyBids will provide a fixed exchange rate so that Monkey Kingdom holders can exchange $PEACH into MonkeyBids native token $BID. Holder can use $BID to participate in the auction.
4. These auction items are not necessarily items. It will also haves exciting Experiences, such as dinner with celebrities, special treatment in theme parks, etc.
5. Monkey Kingdom NFT holders can enter the Exclusive Auction, specially curated for the community.

What’s coming for Monkey Legends (Gen 3)

1. Monkey Legends (Gen3) holders can use their NFTs as playable characters in Kingdomverse mobile games in the future, and there will be more games coming to Kingdomverse.
2. Kingdomverse will launch the Free mint NFT series on December 6 at 8pm GMT+8. Gen3 users can automatically get the whitelist, but they must register a fractal wallet and provide an ETH wallet address (On Monkey Kingdom’s Discord). These Free mint characters can be used in the game. You can find more details from the Kingdomverse Discord.

關於品牌重塑

關於搬遷到 ETH

5. 我們的遊戲在日本甚受歡迎，而在日本eth 和 polygon，而 polygon 也是 EVM chain，搬到 Eth 會對我們未來進行項目合作有很大優勢；
6. 很多 web2 項目要進入 web3 ，第一個踏足的鏈一般都是 ETH，我們與很多 web2 品牌都有聯繫，如果我們希望和他們合作，ETH 會是一個比較好的地方。

未來發展

1. 我們會和其中一個全世界最大的品牌合作，細節不能透露。非常大；
2. MonkeyBids 會帶來收藏品拍賣，包括實物和虛擬收藏品，我們期望這些商品中有些是有趣幽默，有些則是市面上比較難以入手的潮流物品；

關於 Monkey Legend （G3）：

1. Gen3 持有人未來可以將他們的NFT用在 Kingdomverse 的手遊裡，未來 kingdomverse 會有更多遊戲；
2. 之前在 DTK 內測送出的盔甲，未來能在遊戲裡面使用；
3. Kingdomverse 會在12月6日 8pm GMT+8 推出 Free mint NFT 系列，gen3 用戶能自動獲得白名單，但需要登記 fractal 錢包和提供 ETH 錢包地址。這些 Free mint 的角色可以用在遊戲裡面。具體詳情可到 Kingdomverse 的 discord 了解。
